Howie Jacobson honored with the Rochester Business Journal 2012 Health Care Achievement Award
Dixon Schwabl is proud to announce that Managing Partner Howie Jacobson has been honored with the Rochester Business Journal 2012 Heath Care Achievement Award in the volunteer category. The Health Care Achievement Awards recognize individuals and teams that come together to help make our community a better place to live.
Howie is a huge advocate for the Rochester community and is involved in many community-wide initiatives that give back to the city and surrounding areas. He serves as vice chair of Golisano Children's Hospital, taking an active role in connecting with donors and patients at the hospital. Howie has also worked with Unity Health System to raise funds for the urban mobile medical van, complete with a dental office inside, which provides medical care to Rochester youth and their families. His involvement with the ”healthy mouths” initiative through Hillside Work-Scholarship Connection focuses on trips to the dentist office and Eastman Dental to promote health care in urban youth. Howie also has worked with Rochester General Hospital and InterVol, and is a founding board member at EquiCenter for therapeutic riding.
Congratulations, Howie! Thank you for all that you do for the Rochester community!
